Easy Taco Salad

Easy Taco Salad

Ingredients:

Ground Beef
Mild Taco Seasoning
One Bag Precut Lettuce of your Choice
Purple Onion
Sliced Tomato
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Doritos
Catalina Salad Dressing

How to Put it all Together:

Brown ground beef in skillet over medium/high heat
Slice tomato and onion Add taco seasoning to meat Remove meat from heat once all liquid has cooked off
In large bowl combine; -lettuce
-cheese
-tomato
-onion
-cooled ground beef
Toss with light coating of salad dressing
Crumble Doritos over top of salad

Strawberry Raspberry Smoothie

Strawberry Raspberry Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 cup low-fat strawberry yogurt

1/2 cup cranberry juice

1 1/2 cup hulled and quartered fresh strawberries, frozen

1 cup fresh raspberries, frozen


How to Put it all Together:

Combine the yogurt and cranberry juice in the blender. Add the strawberries and raspberries and blend until smooth. Serves 2.

Blueberry Muffins

Blueberry Muffins

Ingredients:
1/4 cup melted margarine
1/3 cup sugar
2 cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 egg beaten
3/4 cup milk
1 cup blueberries

How to put it all together:
In a saucepan, melt the margarine and then add the sugar. Beat egg with fork and add to milk and set aside. Add the flour and baking powder into the pan with the margarine and sugar, and then add the milk and egg mixture . Stir just enough to mix the ingredients together.

Put batter in muffin tins lined with muffin paper or if you prefer, grease and flour the tins. Sprinkle sugar on top of the batter before baking - Bake 20 - 25 minutes in a 400 degree oven.

Gingersnap Cookies

Gingersnap Cookies
A favorite. Gooey molasses and ginger. yum.
Here's the recipe:
Ingredients:
3/4 cup Crisco (shortening)
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup dark molasses
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 cups flour
How to put it together:
In your mixer, combine Crisco and sugar and beat well together.
Add egg, molasses to mixture and blend.
Add all the rest of the ingredients in the order given and blend together.
Take entire mixture and wrap in wax paper and put in refrigerator for about an hour.
If you are in a hurry, you can put them in the freezer for a shorter time. When cool, remove from refrigerator and roll in 1 inch balls and roll the balls in sugar.
Place on cookie sheet and bake in 350 degree oven for 10 - 12 minutes.
Remove cookies from oven when they puff up and have cracks on the top.
Note, recipe can be doubled.
